The Master Rock climbing classes are our top level classes for climbers who wish to complete their knowledge of outdoor rock climbing. Our expert instructors will teach you what is required to lead multi-pitch trad routes, aid climb the big walls, and rescue your group in event of an accident. If you want to climb anywhere in the world, the Edgeworks Master Rock classes will teach the necessary technical skills to do so.

301: Trad Lead & Multi-Pitch  
 
The best investment a climber can ever make is learning to lead traditional routes properly and safely. This two day class will teach you both the art of gear placement as well as how to turn your single pitch climb into many. Trad climbing is rewarding, multi-pitch is even more so; our class will teach the efficient systems and technique required to climb pitch after pitch safely and quickly.

  302: Class 6 - Aid Climbing
 
For many, aid climbing is the final step to climbing the big walls. Aid climbing is heavy in both gear and the skill to use it in a safe, efficient manner. This class will teach you the gear required to aid both on lead and to second.

303: Self Rescue  
 
What would you do if your partner was injured while climbing? What if a nearby team needed help? Would you know what to do? Self rescue skills can prevent further accidents and prevent a full blown rescue. For anyone who climbs trad, the Self Rescue class is mandatory.

  304: Advanced Technical Rock
 
If you've taken one of our 300 Level Classes and want to take that skill to the next level, you want this class; spend an entire day with one of our instructors expanding on skills of any previous 300 Level Class.  This is the class to take if you've been out climbing on your own for a while and you want to make your skills as proficient and safe as possible.

  • Learn to assess your objective and optimize your gear for that task

305: Comprehensive Master Rock  
 

Are you ready to explore the more mysterious aspects of climbing that you only dreamed about in the gym.  Learn all the advanced skills of the entire 300 Series.  These skills intertwine in the alpine environment; you need good trad gear placements to do any amount of serious aid climbing; aid skills make you a more efficient trad climber and get you on the big walls; every climber should have basic rescue skills. The more tools you have in your ‘toolbox’, the better you'll be able to deal with any situation in the vertical backcountry.
